Global Cuts
Jellyfish - also called jellies or sea jellies as they are not true fish - are animals that belong to Phylum Cnidaria, included in the class Scyphozoa. Almost all jellyfish live in the seas and though they lack true organ structures they feature specialized tissues. The adult forms of these creatures are composed of 95-99% water. All species are found in each of the world's oceans, with a few species living in fresh water. Most jellyfish are passive drifters that feed on small fish and zooplankton that become caught in their tentacles.

Theses Jellyfish is shot in Monterey Bay Aquarium, California. It is one of the largest aquariums in the world. It has an annual attendance of 1.8 million and holds 35,000 plants and animals of 623 species.

The Jellyfish footage is shot with a 3CCD DVCAM camcorder and is supplied in flattened QuickTime format. It is shot and captured in DV-NTSC format dimensions, 720 x 486 pixels, at a frame rate of 30 fps. Also available in PAL format. Visit Site
